Creator's Key Takeaways

We definitely recommend the Flams Bana train ride if you're ever in that area.

It was really nice to just sit back, let the train do the work, and soak in even more incredible scenery of the beautiful Norwegian landscape.

There's a ENO cruise right in front of us.

That would never happen in the US.

YouTube Video Description

Join us on this unforgettable leg of our Norway adventure! 🇳🇴 In this video, we start with a quick stop in Olden for lunch at Circle K (because there’s always something to eat there 😋). From there, we head to our final Airbnb—a cozy ski lodge rental tucked away in the mountains, the perfect spot to unwind. The next morning, we make our way to Flåm to ride the world-famous Flåmsbana Railway 🚂—one of the most scenic train journeys in the world. We booked our tickets through Norwaysbest.com (about $75 per person). The train ride takes about 1 hour each way between Flåm and Myrdal, with a short 15-minute stop at the top. Along the way, the train makes a magical stop at the Kjosfossen waterfall, where we were surprised to see and hear the legendary Huldra, a mystical forest spirit from Norwegian folklore. 🌊✨ The views were absolutely breathtaking—towering mountains, cascading waterfalls, and winding valleys. Truly a must-do experience if you’re visiting Norway! 🌄🚞 Myrdal itself is a key mountain station that connects the Oslo–Bergen railway line, making it an important hub. After this magical train ride, we continued our journey to Bergen, where we returned our rental car at the airport and checked in to the Clarion Hotel Bergen Airport for the last two nights of our trip. If you’re planning a trip to Norway, this video is packed with tips, inspiration, and highlights from one of the country’s most iconic experiences.
