I experienced unlimited luxury from the moment I arrived to the very last second of my amazing vacation. The warm welcome from the bell and reception team let me know that I was at a true luxury resort and that the level of service I received was top notch. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful every member of the Secrets Tides team was throughout my Sunny South Vacation. After quickly unpacking I was out to see the beach and pool areas which were impressive. Cushioned sun loungers around the three massive pools were aplenty and palapas on the beach provided great shade in the hot Dominican Republic sun. Every meal from breakfast, lunch to dinner was 5-star gourmet but my favourite was the a la carte breakfasts I had in Oceana each morning. Two fried eggs, a croissant, a mimosa and a beautiful Caribbean sunrise was how I started each day in paradise. Days were spent splitting time between the beach and the pool enjoying a cold cocktail or two and each night closed with an amazing meal and impressive show in the main theatre or by the Rendezvous lobby bar. Secrets Tides is a very elegant and modern adult only all-inclusive resort located 35 to 40 minutes from the international airport. The 668 suite resort is spread across nearly 800 feet of palm-studded beach. There are nine (9) dining venues including five (6) a la carte restaurants. All seven (7) bars and lounges serve top shelf spirits. There are three (3) pools, two (2) for all guests and one (1) dedicated to guests in Preferred Club. The Preferred Club is the elevated experience that offers those guests many additional amenities and services including (but not limited to): butler service, access to two (2) Preferred Club lounges, private restaurant for a la carte breakfast and lunch as well as Preferred Club dedicated beach area and pool. I enjoyed the Preferred Club experience but it's worth noting that all guests will enjoy exceptional service at this luxury resort.
