We were unfortunate enough to board the MSC Armonia on the day the incident with the 69 Bolivian Passengers occured. These passengers had been able to board the ship in Brasil without the correct immigration paperwork. This resulted in the ship being impounded by Spanish Authorities in Barcelona. Like many other passengers we boarded the ship oblivious to this problem. Our daily VLOGS capture what this meant for our holiday experience and our frustrations as the incident unfolded and MSC effectively wiped out our holiday plans for the ports were were to visit. We booked this holiday for a cheap price and had low expectations of MSC - In our VLOGS you'll see if MSC met those expectations. In this 3rd VLOG we find ourselves unexpectedly prevented from disembarking the ship when we tried to go back into Barcelona. The days hastily made plans were scuppered again. Passengers were getting agitated and it wasnt until 11am that there was an annoucement that the Bolivian Passengers had disembarked and we were going to set sail that day. After a further 90 mins we actually did set sail from Barcelona past the newly built and spectacular Sun Princess which had moored in Barcelona. Passengers getting news reports from the Barcelona press filled each other in with what updates they had learned and it became clear that MSC were not fully disclosing details to the passengers. This further soured the mood and MSC then tried to lift spirits by offering a free bar and wifi ... news of this spread by word of mouth and it was never officially announced. We then learned our itinerary had been badly altered and there would be only 1 stop between Barcelona and Venice ... Not even a free bar could counteract the effect that had. So we made the most of a sea day that had not planned for. MSC not shining bright and the situation with the food offerings had begun to deteriorate. #msc #cruisevlog #msccruise #mscarmonia #bolivianpassengers #barcelona Please subscribe to see more content like this - https://youtube.com/@CooksExplore?sub_confirmation=1
