YouTube Video Description↓

From the port of Darwin, we visited Litchfield National Park, or, at least my sister visited as I woke up with a fever that morning. She fantastically filmed for me and saw what the park is most famous for - huge, towering termite mounds, like Cathedral Mound. I've never seen anything like them. Some of the mounds were magnetic mounds, built with knowledge of the Earth's magnetic field. She visited three different falls - Wagi Falls, Tomer Falls and Florence Falls. At Wagi Falls, there is a boardwalk for various views and while walking, she noticed bats in the trees! They were flapping their wings to stay cool on the hot day. The excursion started at The Banyon Tree Caravan park with horses and a large Banyon tree. We got a peek at Darwin on the drive back to the port. I'm so thankful she filmed so I could see what I missed, Litchfield National Park looks like a fantastic place to visit. #darwinaustralia #darwin #litchfieldpark #litchfield #litchfieldnationalpark #australia #australiannature #bats #termitemounds #waterfalls #worldcruise Music from https://www.bensound.com/ License number 204507727 00:00 Introduction 00:23 Driving To Litchfield National Park 00:58 Banyan Tree Caravan Park and Horses 02:27 Map of Lichfield National Park 03:08 Termite Mounds 03:33 Cathedral Termite Mound 04:58 Magnetic Termite Mounds 06:40 Wangi Falls 10:50 Bats 12:00 Tolmer Falls 12:52 Florence Falls 14:25 Driving Around Darwin 14:57 Leaving Darwin's Port
