St Lucia - Virgin Voyages Shore Thing - Pitons, Botanicals and Bays

Our 5th island visted on our cruise was St. Lucia. We chose the bus/catamaran tour through Virgin Voyages. The cost was $120 each for this 7 hour tour. Our tour was bus first, then the catamaran, and the other half of the people did it backward. We got on the catamaran as they got on our buses after we were finished with the bus part of the tour. What a beautiful island! It rivals the Road to Hana in Maui and the north side of Kauai for that rainforest landscape of towering tropical trees and lush vegetation. We ate lunch at the Villa Des Pitons, a hotel and restaurant overlooking the town of Soufriere and the Pitons. Next, we hit the Botanical gardens and Diamond waterfall, truly the most peaceful setting I've ever seen. Next, we were off to the pier in Soufriere and boarded the catamaran. We cruised through Marigot Bay and then stopped for a short snorkel swim.
