Take a look at the inside of a Tesco Supermarket in Hong Kong called U 購 select, located at Stanley Market (赤柱市集). Overall the prices seemed pretty reasonable, though dairy products such as milk and ice cream were about double the price than those in the USA. Here were some of the prices we saw: • Driscoll's Strawberries: $3.82 for 16 oz carton • Chicken: $4.84 to $5.70 • Smoked Salmon: $8.92 • Ham: $5.73 • Cheeses: $2.55 to $5.10 a package • Cereal: $2.55 to $3.82 a box • Tesco Instant Coffee: $8 to $11 • Box of Lipton or Twining Tea Bags: $3.50 • Almond/Soy Milk half gallon: $5+ • Milk: $3.08 for a quart which was pretty expensive • Ice Cream: $9.50 for half gallon- also pretty expensive • Frozen Pizza: $4 each • 5 pounds of Black rice $3.57, 15 pounds of white rice $6.75 • Apples ranch from 25 to 40 cents each • Chips $1.25 to $1.90 each canister • Veggies 80 cents to $1.50 each This is part of the Hong Kong vlog as we visited city on March 19 2018 as part of our 14 Day Asia Cruise aboard the Princess Cruises Majestic Princess cruise ship.
