Creator's Key Takeaways
This was an extremely fun build uh to do, but it was extremely challenging at the same time.
I want to use as many big basic bricks as I can just so I've got a variety of bricks I can use rather than having a ton of bricks that are also expensive laying around that I'm not using.
I really haven't done this before. I kind of did it with the uh Icon of the Seas build about two and a half almost three years ago at this point.

Welcome back to The Brick Executive channel! This is the first video in a new series which will be called "The LEGO Shipyard". In these more informal style of videos, we will discuss the planning and building of the LEGO models utilizing the both the in-progress photographs taken during the building phase as well as an online program I use to help in the planning phase. Throughout the videos, we will also discuss small easter eggs as well as fun stories about either the building process or the real ships themselves. In this episode, we will discuss the process of building the LEGO model of the second member of Royal Caribbean International's Icon class: Star of the Seas. I hope you enjoy and look forward to future videos of this series! NOTICE: I am not a professional. I did my best in terms of getting colors as close as possible with what I had at hand. Please understand that there are limits to what I was able to make due to what LEGO currently sells in colors and brick types. NOTICE: About 20% of my bricks to date are not LEGO-branded bricks. Most of these were given to me by a relative and I gladly include them in the builds. When additional bricks are needed for upcoming builds, I buy them directly from LEGO. NOTICE: I currently do not sell any of these LEGO models. Additionally, I do not make instruction manuals for these builds. They are purely freehand, and are initially planned and made from a number of resources ranging from deck plans, technical photographs, onboard footage, etc. Music in this video was provided by Epidemic Sound. #lego #cruiseship #staroftheseas #iconoftheseas #shipbuilding
