The Villages Florida has over 100 recreation centers. The Sugar Cane and Dudley recreation centers in the Village of Desoto have some unique activities to include air gun and archery ranges. Dudley also has a dog park with agility equipment. The schedule of recreation activities can be found in The Villages Recreation & Parks weekly handout. This handout can be acquired at any Villages recreation center. The schedule can also be accessed online at Districtgov.org. Just click on the Recreation tab. Charlie and Jennifer Pryde have lived in The Villages for one year and in Central Florida for fifteen years. Our main activities in The Villages are biking, fitness parks, pickle ball, platform tennis, golf and swimming. We love to travel throughout Florida, the United States and internationally.
