The child is said to have fallen out of a window on the Freedoms of the Seas vessel operated by Royal Caribbean, after slipping from her grandfather's hands. She landed on the concrete of the Pan American dock II in San Juan, Puerto Rico A spokesperson for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. said the company was assisting authorities in San Juan, PR after the incident. The child's paternal and maternal grandparents, her parents and her younger brother, among other relatives, were all aboard the ship at the time of her death.
