Our 6th trip started off with a culinary bang! Chef Hector Leyva picked us up at our villa in Punta de Mita and took us on a market tour of Mercado del Mar at La Cruz de Huanacaxstle –A neighboring, small village, to Punta Mita. After we chose our favorite freshly caught fish, we headed to his restaurant in Punta de Mita where he whipped up five amazing dishes for our entire family. We had his full attention and the whole restaurant to ourselves. This was hands down one of my favorite experiences we've had so far. The thing is, it can't be repeated.
