Trap Door waterslide is so scary that a lot of people back out!

Getting in to this vertical-drop waterslide is so intimidating that a lot of people chicken out once they get in it... once they realize that the floor is going to drop out right from under them and they will drop straight down! These twin slides are known as the "Free Fall" water slides ... and what's really unusual about them is they're not at a water park on land, they're on a cruise ship: the brand-new Norwegian Escape, the new flagship for Norwegian Cruise Line. Screaming is not a good idea on this slide, because after the initial drop you reach a short uphill portion... and there's pretty much just water everywhere. Better to keep your mouth closed! In any case, the terror will all be over a few seconds later, no matter what you do. This ride is quick, but terrifying! Another thing to consider... Is a bikini the right swimwear choice on an intense ride like this? Will you still be in it at the end of the ride?!? Regarding the young girl that you see in the last half of the video, who was so cute in the way she couldn't bring herself to do it... I ran in to her a few days later and asked her if she ever ended up going down that slide. She told me that she eventually did, and ended up going down the slide a total of three times.
