Trap Door Waterslide On A Cruise Ship!

You get a pretty great scare during the first few seconds of your ride on this cruise ship waterslide! The floor drops out from under you, and you plunge straight down in a free-fall. It's really scary, in a very fun way. Water slides like this are common at water parks on land, but only the best cruise ships have these vertical-drop waterslides. Many of the newest cruise ships from Norwegian Cruise Line have them. I shot this video during a Mexican Riviera cruise on Norwegian Joy. The waterslides on most other cruise lines are truly lame in comparison to this very thrilling vertical-drop slides on NCL. A few other cruise ships where you'll find slides like this are Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Getaway, and Norwegian Breakaway. You won't find this type of slide on any Royal Carribean ship, and only on a few of the ships from Carnival and Disney.
