We are going to explore two temples in Luxor. The Luxor temple and then the Carac temple at night.

I'm not interested at all in fertility. I don't really believe in luck. So, I'm just going to leave that scared beetle right there.

Our Viking program director waves goodbye to us and the video crew captures our adventure.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description↓

A 1 hour chartered flight on Petroleum Air Services from Cairo took us to Luxor where we visited the Karnak Temple and saw the beginning of the Avenue of Sphinxes. In the evening we visited the Luxor Temple at night and discovered how it was occupied by four religions throughout history: Egyptian, Roman, Christian and Islam. A hot air balloon ride at sunrise carried us over the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the queens, and later we got to explore that same area during the daytime - visiting the tombs of Ramses 1, 4 and 9 as well as the tomb of King Tut to say hello to his mummy. What incredible hyroglyphics with colors and carvings that have survived all this time! We toured the Howard Carter home before going to the temple built by Hatshepsut. And finally stopping at the temple site of Memnon where only two statues remain. :40 Flight on Petroleum Air Services from Cairo to Luxor 1:21 Arrival Luxor Airport 1:29 Karnak Temple 5:45 Luxor Temple 6:59 Hot Air Balloon Ride 8:29 Valley of the Kings 9:40 Tomb of Ramses 4 11:29 Tomb of Ramses 9 12:09 Tomb of Ramses 1 13:29 Tomb of King Tut 14:32 Howard Carter House 17:43 Temple of Hatshepsut 23:02 Temple of Memnon
