Release the KRAKEN! Join me for a beautiful walk around Vigo Spain after a quick 6 Euro cab ride to Castelo do Castro! Let’s take in the beautiful sights of Vigo from above, as well as the amazing view of the Carnival Celebration! I fell like I’ve fallen into a chapter of “A Tale of Two Cities” one of my favorite books ever written by Charles Dickens. It goes without saying that this is a must visit while in Vigo Spain. Castelo do Castro is free of charge with some of the best if not the best views of the cruise port, the city and the hilltops. It is rich in culture and history so to say this was the perfect thing for me to do while here is an understatement. Once we leave Castelo do Castro we walk down the hills making our way into the city center, one there we find the perfect little place to grab some great Galician seafood for lunch! Have you ever wondered what octopus Should taste like? I know I have and it is absolutely out of this world cooked to perfection! After lunch we start making our way back to the ship and stop along the way to grab a few Souvenirs to take back home. Spain has been absolutely wonderful so far and I can’t wait to come back in the future!
