http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Viking World or Vikinggaheimar Museum is located in the seaside town of Reykjaneshaer (not far from Keflavik International Airport). This was the last tour included in the Tauck Tours 7-day Iceland Cruise. Viking World has five different exhibitions which are all connected to the Viking age and gives an opportunity to learn about their history and lifestyle 1,000 years ago. The highlight is a replica of the Viking ship Islendingur, a seaworthy vessel that sailed to North America in 2000. It boggles my mind how the adventurous Vikings explored the seas in such a tiny craft! Please don't forget to Subscribe Share and Like. Thanks.
