We never dreamed of visiting this historic place until we realized we could reach it easily by cruise! Viking made it possible during a Mediterranean ocean cruise from Venice to Athens. We docked in Katakalo and took a bus to get to this spectacular ancient site, a beautiful drive away on the island of Peloponnese. Can you believe athletes competed here since the 8th century, during the ancient Olympic Games? And we didn’t have to coordinate our visit or anything - Viking took care of everything!
