I wrap up the last few items of packing and show you the cases I'm taking for the holiday. We then both take a taxi from our homes to the Virgin Atlantic Upper Class Wing at London Heathrow's Terminal 3. We managed to book these flights with Reward Seats, my ticket with airmiles, and Gary's with a Companion Voucher. Arriving at the Upper Class Wing, I show you around the space, before Gary C arrives and we check-in for our flight. It's then through airport security to the departures lounge, where we pick up some essentials from WHSmith, browse the book shop and relax in the Virgin Atlantic Upper Class Clubhouse (lounge). Upon boarding our Airbus A330-300, we take our seats in 9A and 10A in the old style Upper Class cabin. I give you a little seat tour, walk you through the in-flight entertainment, share the menu options, Gary shows us what's in the Goodie Bag and we bump into some cabin crew we've flown with before! Taking flight, I make sure to share the sights and sounds of flying in this cabin, to really give you a feel of the experience, and the sense of going away on your own Disney World vacation. Throughout the flight, we check-in with you at various points to let you know what we think of the food, the flight so far and what we're up to. I also convert Gary's bed during the flight, and show you how to do it yourself. However, when in doubt, the cabin crew are more than happy to turn your bed down for you. Landing at Orlando International Airport, we take the shuttle tram over to the main terminal. Here, we order an Uber from Level 2 of the B side, outside baggage claim 30. I show you how to order an Uber or Lyft for pick-up, and the arrival at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village. This side of the resort is made up of Disney Vacation Club villas. During this stay, we were in a One Bedroom Villa - Standard View (car park view). Regardless of the view, we had an amazing location, with good access to the buses and Jambo House. For the remainder of the evening, we grab a quick service meal from The Mara after a short walk to Jambo House, pick up our Resort Mugs included in the Disney Dining Plan, show you the beds available in our One Bedroom Villa (including the really bad one), we unpack and of course give you the full room tour! I get some Taylor Swift merchandise from Gary C as a belated Birthday present, I gift Gary an honorary Pearl Membership to my Moooorning Club and we check out the new 'Hey Disney!' Amazon Alexa device that is newly available in Disney Resort Hotel Rooms.
