Creator's Key Takeaways
we were a little shocked um but then in other ways not so much as this um cancellation seemed to be quite common with Ambassador
this ship actually failed a port State Control inspection back in may just weeks after her maiden voyage because 20 deficiencies were identified
there's a lot of planning go that goes into a holiday and that might you know compensate them for the actual Cruise fare but um there'll be a lot of people that were on board that were trying cruising for the first time and I'd imagine that this has left quite a sour taste in their mouth
I would say that this is actually a company that's been fraught with difficulties ever since it was created

About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
We were asked to give our views on the recent cruise cancellations for Ambience cruise ship, which is operated by Ambassador Cruise Lines - which is Britain's NEWEST Cruise Line. Ever since the company was created, the company has been fraught with difficulties - and in such a competitive market, we wonder whether this cruise line can survive. On Sunday 18th December 2022, Ambience had embarked around 1400 passengers in the port of Tilbury, UK. All passengers had settle in, only to be told by the captain that the cruise was cancelled and everyone was required to get off - due to a PSSC inspection failure in relation to a lifeboat davit. This would be the second inspection failure in 7 months - a record which is disturbingly unprecedented.
