The quality and variety of food exceeded our expectations, with local ingredients featured prominently throughout the cruise. 🌟 SHIP AMENITIES As a double-wide vessel, AmaMagna offers significantly more space than typical river ships. The expanded dimensions allow for luxuries rarely found on European waterways: a full-sized heated pool and hot tub, dedicated pickleball court, comprehensive fitness center with spin bikes, and a proper spa with massage services and hair salon. Additional conveniences include complimentary self-service laundry, a cinema room, and multiple lounges. This week-long itinerary offered an ideal introduction to river cruising. 👎 WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED We found storage space in our standard stateroom limited, with no seating area beyond the desk. Some alternative dining venues served menus too similar to the main restaurant, and public spaces like the Cinema and Library seemed under-utilized.
