Creator's Key Takeaways
I was so ready to fall in love with this ship and the Virgin brand unfortunately I came away more convinced than ever that virgin aren't a cruise line for me
the cabin for example has no storage there are no draws or cupboards anywhere in the cabin apart from in the closet by the door
I've been cruising since I was a child and I've been on 29 cruises today I've never seen such ridiculous placement of a light switch
all dining is included on virgin voyages which is fantastic there's over 20 places to eat on scarlet lady and there are loads of vegan options on their menu which I love

UPDATE: NEWER VIDEO - I've just got back from a cruise on Scarlet Lady! Did I enjoy it and did Virgin listen to any of the feedback? Check out the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuNYeVjsukw&t=792s πππππ Scarlet Lady is the new cruise ship for Virgin Voyages. She is VERY controversial and was always designed to be different. She certainly is that! I was able to spend some time onboard in Dover, UK and during the video I share everything that I hated and loved about Scarlet Lady and Virgin Voyages in general. There's certain things about this ship which I loved and others where I really think that Virgin has made massive mistakes. Virgin specifically hired people who hadn't worked in the cruise industry before to design the ship and this is REALLY obvious. The ship is beautiful, but in the pursuit of style some cruising basics have been completely left out. I was SO ready to fall in love with the ship and the Virgin brand, unfortunately I came away more convinced than ever that Virgin aren't the cruise line for me. I'm sure they are for somebody, but they aren't for me. *** UPDATES: 4000 passengers in incorrect. I should have said 4000 people (including the crew). Scarlet Lady can hold 2800 passengers and 1150 crew. Virgin have informed me that they do have a disabled lift for the pool. *** βΆ Stay up to date: http://EmmaCruises.com/News βΆ Let's get you on a cruise!: https://EmmaCruises.com/Book-a-Cruise/ *** βΆ Background World Map (Use Code EMMACRUISES For a Discount): https://enjoythewood.com/emmacruises βΆ Daylight Lamp: https://emmacruises.com/lamp βΆ Don't make the WORST CRUISE MISTAKE: https://emmacruises.com/cruise-travel-insurance-why-you-need-it-and-how-to-get-it-step-by-step-guide/ π₯³π₯³ emma@emmacruises.com Join this channel to get access to exclusive perks like a weekly podcast and early ad free access to videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCu4C8c3h9SKdkxnOwIAiHeA/join
