Join me for a full review of Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas! This was my 72nd cruise over the last 30 years, and my 10th cruise with Royal Caribbean. I can honestly say this ship stands out as one of the best. In this video, I take you inside the adults-only Solarium, a glass-enclosed paradise perfect for any weather. It features a series of cascading pools that you can relax in while enjoying the views of the scenery outside. There are also two large hot tubs, day beds and loungers, a full bar, and a buffet restaurant right next door. I also show you the incredible Two70 lounge with its amazing lighting, sound, special effects, and robotic screens... though I have a serious warning that you need to hear before you go. I also explore the SeaPlex (bumper cars at sea!), the NorthStar aerial pod, and why I think the cabin design on this ship is absolutely brilliant compared to other lines. Plus, I’ll share the best thing I ate on the ship — and it wasn’t in the main dining room! You'll get a full cabin tour of a typical balcony cabin (specifically 12662) as well as a look at the difference between that and a less-expensive oceanview cabin. I explain why the closet design is genius, and several other smart design choices Royal Caribbean made with their cabin design. I talk about dining in the Windjammer buffet restaurant... The steakhouse, Chops Grille... and I introduce you to the $4 pulled pork nachos at the pub. They were so good that I went back on a second visit for more! Quantum Of The Seas offers a tremendous value for the dollar, especially when compared to newer Royal Caribbean ships such as Icon of the Seas.
