During this process, the ship was lengthened by 84 feet. This all-new section includes a number of new cabins, as well as new public venues, in addition to several other improvements throughout the ship. The 8 deck Star Breeze holds just over 300 passengers. The smaller ship size allows guests to get up close to the destinations. However, while small in size, Windstar Cruises’ Star Breeze still features plenty of cruise staples. So, get ready as we take you on our deck-by-deck Star Breeze cruise ship tour. -----OUTDOOR DECKS ON WINDSTAR CRUISES STAR BREEZE SHIP TOUR------ Our Windstar Cruises Star Breeze ship tour begins on Deck 8 with the Yacht Club Café and Library. Located all the way forward at the top of the ship, this venue provides a quiet spot to relax with some of the best views. It is also your go-to spot for espresso-based beverages. Also showcased in the Star Breeze Tour is the Star Bar serving up casual poolside drinks and the Star Grill in partnership with the global grill expert Steven Raichlen. Deck 7 also houses many public venues like the spa, gym, and the main pool deck. This deck also has the cruise ship buffet, Veranda, which transforms into the signature steakhouse, Candles, at night. -----INDOOR DECKS ON WINDSTAR CRUISES STAR BREEZE TOUR------ Deck 6 features mostly staterooms, including our Star balcony suite. At the aft of this deck is the Compass Rose Lounge. This venue serves up all your favorite drinks alongside live music. With its lively atmosphere and energetic bartenders, this will likely be one of your go-to spots during your Windstar cruise. Deck 6 also house the shops and Cuadro 44, the intimate Spanish tapas restaurant in partnership with Anthony Sasso. On Deck 5, you will find additional staterooms along with the Reception and Destination Offices. All the way forward on this deck is a secluded whirlpool offering amazing scenic views. All the way aft on this deck is the Lounge which hosted daily destination talks, a couple shows, and live music. Finally, continuing down to Deck 3, you will find the Amphora Dining Room and the Watersports Platform. Amphora is the elegant main dining room on Windstar Cruises. Amphora is open seating every night for dinner from 7 to 9 pm, with no reservations required. Aft on this deck is the Watersports Platform.
