This is an AAC room (Ambulatory Accessible Cabin..definition below) that we got upgraded to on our September cruise. This type of room is listed as a regular balcony room (and have to click Accessible Stateroom Needed). With Carnival upgrading this room it did help us book this type of room for my parents (who both have knee problems) for our cruise on the Legend in May 2020. ** PLEASE NOTE***...We made sure before we took this room that nobody needed it and told our PVP to move us if anybody with difficulty of accessibility needed this type of room if they booked last minute. Ambulatory Accessible Cabins (AAC): These staterooms are designed for use by guests with mobility limitations, who do not require the regular use of a wheelchair, scooter, or other similar assistive devices.
