About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
There's not just one, but two submarines onboard Viking's new expedition ship, Viking Octantis... and there's no extra charge for passengers to take a ride on the sub! In this video, I take you along with me in the submarine as we dive down about 90 feet to the floor of the Caribbean, near St Barts. Also, I show you where the subs are stored and serviced when they're not in use, and how they are moved in and out of the water. You'll also see aerial video that I shot of the ship in the Caribbean, during a nine-day cruise in April of 2022. I am a licensed commercial drone pilot (FAA part 104) and was invited aboard the ship (at Viking's expense) to shoot videos of the ship in an effort to create awareness of all the innovations on Viking's brand new ship. If you're interested in booking a cruise with Viking, or any other cruise line, feel free to use the services of my travel agent, Caitlin Gallagher. You can email her at caitlin@ambrentravel.com or call her at 1-904-364-5774. There is no extra charge for her services, as her fees are paid for by the cruise lines.
