Above the Waves on Carnival’s SkyCourse: Could You Make It Across floating 100 feet up? #cruiselife
YouTube Video Description↓
Strap in and step up — we’re taking a trip high above the ocean aboard one of Carnival’s cruise ships to try their SkyCourse ropes course. Suspended over the top deck, this thrilling challenge sends you across rope bridges, swinging steps, and narrow beams with nothing but sea spray and sky all around. Could you do it? The SkyCourse is built into Carnival’s SportSquare area and stretches for 230 feet in two circuits — a beginner route and a more advanced path. You’ll find it on ships like Carnival Breeze, Horizon, Magic, Panorama, Sunshine, Vista, and several others. To climb aboard, you must be at least 48 inches tall (4 feet) and obey the weight limit, which is typically 275 to 300 pounds depending on the ship. You also need to wear closed‑toe shoes, be completely dry (no wet swimwear or drip), and fit properly into the full harness system. The course is usually open during sea days (when the ship is underway), though its hours can vary and are listed in the Carnival HUB app or on‑board schedule. Because of wind, ship motion, or maintenance, there may be times it’s closed even on sea days. Once you’re up there, you’ll test your balance, nerve, and endurance as you move across each element, often pausing at platforms to plan your next move or catch your breath. The higher you go, the more the sea breeze and ship sway become factors — making it a truly unique test at sea. If you’re into adventure, daredevil challenges, or just want to see whether I make it across (or chicken out), this video has you covered.
