It's day one of our fantastic 10 night Alaska cruise, and we are finally getting onboard the beautiful Grand Princess. Our Alaska cruise vlog picks up where our pre-cruise vlog left off, and we make the second half of our road trip to San Francisco. You're going to get a good look at the pier, and see some of the drop-off traffic congestion. Alaska cruise tip number 1; make sure to give yourself extra time to drop off your luggage. We are also going to give you an idea of available parking, and what we think is the best option. The check-in process went extremely smooth, and we were on the ship in no time. With the embarkation process behind us, we are ready to head to the room and scope out our spacious inside cabin. I'll give you a personal tour around the cabin, but we'll also have a full cabin tour in another video. After our inside cabin tour there is only the muster drill standing between us and the awesome sail away party. We always love sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge, and we get a spectacular view on this sailing. It was so much fun. We close out this cruise vlog with some pre-dinner drinks and relaxation in our favorite new place The One5, and a little summary wrap up of all the good things that happened on this lovely embarkation day.
