#cruise #travel #seattle #america #american #washingtonstate #us #usa I recently enjoyed a week-long roundtrip Seattle cruise on American Cruise Lines 170-passenger ship American Constitution to the San Juan islands and around the Puget Sound and Olympic Peninsula. This video is a snapshot of the whole ship and voyage, showing she ship's facilities (including a gym, games room, free launderette, bars and entertainment), cabins and food - everything's included, wine too, and it's all delicious. The chef is AMAZING - I particularly loved the corn bread and salads and seafood. Now for the destinations: 1. From Anacortes I enjoyed a hike in Deception Pass State Parl 2. Friday Harbor - it was too windy for our ship to get there on the day so we took the sturdy, local ferry instead which added extra adventure. On the island I did the ship's e-bike excursion which was fun (there was some wildlife to spot too) and then I did the Jolly Trolley tour which took us to an alpaca farm (this was fun) as well as some other beauty spots 3. Port Angeles: we had two days here and I explored independently - I went to Crescent Lake and Crescent Lodge as well as hiking to Marymere Falls and then going to Salmon Cascades and seeing salmon leaping - this was incredible. But you need a car to do this. The next day I hiked in a different park with a guide to a high viewpoint and en route there were lots of mushrooms to spot. I also went to a viewpoint to see the Olympic mountains 4. Port Townsend - this was a fun Victorian town, thought to be haunted. We didn't make the final port because there was an oil spill and we had a night in Seattle instead...this was a bonus actually because I LOVE Seattle! All in all a fantastic cruise...
