Anthem of the Seas | Day 5 | St. Maarten is GORGEOUS, Free Beach, Best Sunset, & Wonderland Dinner!

Date Filmed: January 31, 2020 Hello Everyone! Welcome back to Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas! It is Day number 5 of our sailing and today we are at the beautiful island of St. Maarten! We have stopped in the Dutch side capital, Phillipsburg! We were graced with an absolutely gorgeous sunny day with some of the most stunning Caribbean blue waters! St. Maarten proved to be a very easy port to get around with a short pier and $7 per person water taxi service that takes you to different shops and free nearby beaches! The beach didn't offer the best snorkeling but we enjoyed a relaxing beach day taking in the surrounding sights! Once back on board, we had a delicious lunch at Cafe Two70, and then hit the Solarium. We were lucky to catch one of the most breathtaking sunsets we have witnessed on a cruise ship as we departed and said goodbye to St. Maarten. Tonight's headliner show was a hilarious and talented comedian ventriloquist, Michael Harrison, who has been featured on America's Got Talent! For dinner we had something very new and special, Wonderland! Wonderland is more of a culinary adventure, rather than a restaurant. It has a unique style that focuses on the beautifying of food and presenting meals in an interesting and artistic way. We were a little nervous that maybe this food would be a little outside our comfort zone, but we were pleasantly surprised! Overall, we found the food very good, and the storytelling element that you get with this dining experience is truly special! After a quick trip to the SeaPlex and arcade we called it a night!
