YouTube Video Description

Arizona - Sedona and Chapel of the Holy Cross We're continuing our drive from Phoenix to Flagstaff, Arizona and on the way, we're making stops at the Chapel of the Holy Cross and Sedona. Chapel of the Holy Cross Yes, I know I screwed up the name- it's not Church, It's Chapel. It's still gorgeous to look at. Expect lots of traffic around the area. There was a small amount of parking but it was too crowded for my taste so we admired it from a distance. Sedona Sedona is one of the most gorgeous places I've ever seen. I would love to go back and hike and take in the scenery longer. There are plenty of hotels and spas but traffic could be an issue as it is quite a popular place these days. Flagstaff We made Flagstaff our home base as it offered a central location to visit multiple parks within an hour's drive - Sedona, The Grand Canyon, Sunset Crater, and just over an hour's drive The Petrified Forrest and Painted Desert, and Winslow, Az. I really think this is a great location as a home base and the people were very welcoming. _____________________________________________________________________________ Places we visit on this trip to Arizona: • Montezuma Castle National Monument - https://youtu.be/ICrpDD8mv5w • Biking Grand Canyon South Rim to Hermits Rest - https://youtu.be/VlEdgVQX6ns • Petrified Forest | Painted Desert | Standing on the corner in Winslow Az - https://youtu.be/IcUR0E7zWm0 • Sunset Crater Volcano, Flagstaff Az - https://youtu.be/8qsc41Vx_S4 _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Chapel of the Holy Cross (check out TripAdvisor's information-currently the Chapel's website is down) https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g31352-d117113-Reviews-Chapel_of_the_Holy_Cross-Sedona_Arizona.html Wildflower Bread Co. 101 N Highway 89A, Sedona, AZ 86336 https://wildflowerbread.com/ The Art of Wine 101 N State Rte 89A Ste B9, Sedona, AZ 86336 https://www.artofwinesedona.com/ Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Flagstaff East 1000 North Country Club Dr, Flagstaff, AZ 86004 (Great Central location to visit many parks and activities) https://www.reservationcounter.com/hotels/show/6254f6e/fairfield-inn-suites-by-marriott-flagstaff-northeast-flagstaff-az/ U.S. National Parks Annual Pass-https://www.nps.gov/planyourvisit/passes.htm Let's Talk! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twitter: @RyzenRN Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/journeywithjosh2020/ www.journeywithjosh.com (c) 2022
