A few years ago, it was officially announced that Avatar Land was going to replace Camp Minnie Mickey in Animal Kingdom, but it wasn't until this weekend that we found out more or less what it would actually look like. Check out these pictures released by the Disney Parks Blog showing off an amazing looking model and some concept artwork. It has been confirmed that there will be at least two ride slash attractions. One will be a thrilling simulator which will teach guests to fly with one of the Banshee dragon type creatures out of the film, the other will be a jungle cruise-like boat ride showing off the flora and fauna of the world of Pandora. That's all good news. The only bad news is that they don't predict the area to open until.... wait for it... 2017! Ahhhhhh! What are we going to do until then?
