Creator's Key Takeaways

One of the first things that you'll notice is you don't actually dock in Bise.

So, you don't have to get the first one you see. Do shop around.

It's a really interesting cruise port to walk around being along the docks and they do depend on tourism.

Definitely a great island to book an excursion on.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Factor in 15-20 minute tender ride time when planning your day.
Take a picture or note of your tender dock to avoid getting on the wrong tender.
Shop around for prices as they can vary a ton.
Bring cash, especially small bills, as not all stands accept credit or debit.
Book an excursion to best experience the port, as it's not very accessible to walk.

Today we’re taking you on a port tour of Belize, one of the most unique cruise ports in the Caribbean. If you’re sailing here, we are going to give you all the info to plan for your day at the Belize cruise port. One of the first things you’ll notice about the Belize cruise port is that your ship doesn’t actually dock at Belize City. The waters here are too shallow, so cruise ships anchor offshore and you’ll take a tender. An important Belize cruise port tips and tricks is that you need to leave at least 20 minutes for a tender ride and there might be a wait. So leave nice and early if you have an excursion. When you arrive at Belize cruise ship port there are 4 terminal areas. You will want to make a note or take a picture of yours as that is the one you will meet your tender to go back to your ship. When you cruise to Belize you will want to get off the ship and explore the port. If you want to go father than we suggested booking Belize cruise excursions. We did the tram ride and really enjoyed it. For Belize Travel and tourism is a large part of their economy and we enjoyed learning about the culture. There are also Mayan ruins, snorkelling, and cave tubing. Many cruise lines sail to Belize like Princess, Norwegian and Carnival. Royal Caribbean seems to be doing some construction so we are waiting to hear more about that. We hope that you enjoyed our Belize city cruise video. Have you ever sailed here before?
