About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
In this video, I am taking you on our Couple's Weekend Getaway to Bisbee Arizona. Some say it's a ghost town, but others say the population moved suddenly leaving the town vacant. It's located 90 miles southeast of Tucson and nestled among the Mule Mountains, Bisbee is the picturesque county seat of historic Cochise County. Bisbee was founded as a copper, gold, and silver mining town in 1880, and named in honor of Judge DeWitt Bisbee, one of the financial backers of the adjacent Copper Queen Mine. Bisbee is a quaint little town with a little less than 5,000 residents living there. It has made its comeback and thrives on tourism with visitors exploring its mine and staying in landmark hotels. My partner and I drove down to spend a few days away to enjoy each other and explore this part of Arizona while we stayed at our bed and breakfast in Pearce called the Yacqui Hideaway and Lavendar Farm. We enjoyed out day in Bisbee and at the Bisbee Breakfast Club. The food was very good and it's a place you have to eat at while visiting. We went to Eerie Street which is an abandoned street in the town and looks like a ghost town. When the people had their great migration from Bisbee, everything was left as it was. We then walked a little in the town and then went to get a mine tour at the Copper Queen Mines. You will see some of our underground mine tour towards the end of the video. We only touched the surface of the things to do in this town. Next time, we'll get a ghost tour as they sound fun and exciting. Do enjoy and let me know in the comments if this is a town you'd love to come an explore. Thanks for checking out my video. Do subscribe to the channel Eat and Travel with Toni.
