Today is boarding day on Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas, and we’re taking you along for a first look at the ship everyone’s been talking about. From stepping onboard to exploring the neighborhoods like the AquaDome, Chill Island, and Thrill Island, this is our real boarding day preview and first impressions. With so much hype surrounding Star of the Seas, the big question is simple: is it actually worth the hype? We were invited onboard Star of the Seas for a special preview sailing before her public debut in the U.S., and this video captures our first impressions of Royal Caribbean’s newest ship. From walking the gangway into the stunning promenade with the Pearl, to stepping into an Infinite Ocean View Balcony cabin, this vlog is a fast-paced look at what makes Star of the Seas truly special. We explored iconic neighborhoods like AquaDome, Central Park, Surfside, Thrill Island, Chill Island, and The Hideaway, plus dining spots including AquaDome Market, Playmakers, and one of our personal favorites, The Thorn & Thistle for a nightcap. Entertainment blew us away, especially the ice show “Sol” at Absolute Zero, along with high-energy deck parties and a special appearance by Sailor, the ship’s dog, and her incredible handler, Vicky. With seven pools, a six-category water park, adults-only and kids-only areas, incredible dining options (most included), and nonstop entertainment day and night, Star of the Seas offers something for everyone. Whether you want the most chill cruise ever or a thrill-packed adventure, this ship delivers.
