Date Filmed: January 7, 2023 Pixar Day at Sea Cruise Day 1 Hey Howdy Hey Happy Travelers! Welcome onboard the Disney Fantasy for a 7 Night Eastern Caribbean sailing visiting Road Town Tortola, San Juan Puerto Rico, and Castaway Cay (Disney’s Private Island)! What makes this cruise special is that this is the very first Pixar Day at Sea sailing! Much like Marvel Day at Sea or Star Wars Day at Sea that we have seen from DCL in the past, this voyage launches the first ever Pixar Day at Sea! We can expect to see lots of Pixar inspired activities, shows, character meet & greets, entertainment, food items, and fun! Get your Luxo Balls ready, pack your super suits (but leave your capes at home) and meet us on the scare floor, because adventure is out there! We’re going to have a rootin tootin good time! To infinity and beyond! Today is boarding day and we could not be more excited for our week of Pixar inspired fun! We have our bags packed, and more importantly, our Pixar quotes at the ready! 😜 We board with ease and get our first look at construction of the Pixar decor in the atrium! We head to our room to check out our first ever DCL interior stateroom with magical porthole! Then we had a very… interesting muster drill… It’s back to the old days of standing under the lifeboats in the heat while we watch a crew member put on a life vest. But that doesn’t stop our fun! We had a great first evening catching the Sail Away Party, a beautiful sunset, and dinner at Enchanted Garden! It was a great day and we’re excited to get into Pixar fun tomorrow!
