So you bought Carnival’s drink package, but when you board they tell you your room — and your physical Sail & Sign card — won’t be ready until around 1:30 PM. Now you’re standing there like… so am I sober until then or what? Good news: you can still get your drinks. In this video, I explain exactly how it works, what you need, and what to expect so you’re not stressed on embarkation day when you should already be in vacation mode. YES — you can use your drink package before you get your room key. Here’s how: Your drink package is already linked to your cruise account once you board. You can use the Carnival Hub App or your boarding pass to order drinks. The bartender will look you up in the system — no physical card needed. Once cabins open and you get your Sail & Sign card, you’re good for the rest of the cruise. You are NOT being punished with sobriety.
