Creator's Key Takeaways
You can do an excursion into Bruge and amongst other places, but I don't think you really need to. It's quite easy just to get on the train.
The views from up here are amazing and you can see for miles and even all the way back down to Zebra if you look in the distance.
It's a nice place to sit. But this time, we were looking for somewhere slightly different to go and um found this really nice place not too far away.

About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
In this video, I show you how to get to Bruges on your own from the cruise port of Zebrugge. It's actually really easy to explore this port without the need for an excursion. This was filmed across two separate visits, one in October 2024 where we climbed the bell tower in the main square. Then again in March 2025 when we took a boat cruise around the canals. Bruges is a beautiful city and well worth visiting on a cruise, or for a city break.
