BUSY AFTERNOON CRUISE SHIP DEPARTURES SOUTHAMPTON 25/08/23

Cruise Ships departing Southampton Docks on the 25th August 2023 are the "Celebrity Silhouette", "Island Princess", "Bollette" and the Ocean Liner the "Queen Mary 2". The first to depart from the City Cruise Terminal was the Celebrity Cruise Ship "Celebrity Silhouette" at about 4pm for Zeebrugge. Next to depart from the Mayflower Cruise Terminal just before 17:00pm was the Princess Cruises "Island Princess" for St Peter Port Guernsey Channel Islands. Following close behind the "Island Princess" was the Fred Olsen Cruise Lines "Bolette" which had departed from the Horizon Cruise Terminal at 17:12pm for Bilbao. Then lastly was the Cunard Ocean Liner "Queen Mary 2" that had just departed from the Ocean Cruise Terminal at 17:34pm for Stavanger, she also had some extra assistance in leaving the Ocean Dock with the use of a tug which was quite possibly because of the windy conditions at the time.
