On embarkation day, we headed down to Red Frog Pub here on the Carnival Miracle. It’s a favorite spot as most folks don’t know about it, especially on the Spirit-class ships since it’s buried behind a stairwell down on deck 2. Because of this, Carnival offers a half-price drink special from noon-2 on the first day of the cruise to drive traffic. When we got on board, we noticed the sign was turned around that typically advertises this special. We recorded a quick video on what we learned talking to the bartender. As you’ll see, we may have lost yet another perk onboard! Have you had luck recently with Happy Hour on one of your sailings? We’re hoping the crew member was mistaken, however, we’ve seen on several cruise boards that this tradition seems to be a thing of the past.
