Day 6 was a port of call day in Cozumel! We'll show you the shopping mall across the street from the cruise terminal, as well as El Cid, a beautiful hotel within walking distance of the cruise terminal, that has a day pass for $52/adult. We had wanted to do the day pass at El Cid, but with our early departure time of 3:30pm, we are saving that for the next trip. For food and drink, we paid another visit to Bar Mandy (Snack Bar Mandy) located in the Royal Caribbean Cruise Terminal. Always excellent margaritas, food and great staff! Highly recommend! Back on board we both rode the Bolt for the first time ever! The Bolt is the worlds first roller coaster at sea! We both enjoyed it and highly recommend it!! After the bolt, Andy did the ropes course, including a zipline, the views were amazing! Back on board for a quick trip to the Cloud 9 Serenity Spa thermal suites, then off to a special formal night for Carnival's 50th birthday! They had a special retro menu that included an amazing Beef Wellington!! So so good! We capped off the night listening to the Backyard band, AKA Flamingos Bay Band, who were so excellent!
