Arriving by cruise ship, we quickly secured a rental car, allowing us to venture south towards Sumburgh Head. Our day's journey included: • Sumburgh Head: o This dramatic headland provided breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding coastline and the North Sea. • Jarlshof: o Visiting this remarkable archaeological site was a journey through thousands of years of human history. • Bigton: o This area provided beautiful coastal views and a chance to experience the natural beauty of the Shetland Isles. • Hoswick: o We enjoyed the scenery and atmosphere of this lovely area. The drive south from Lerwick was a scenic delight, showcasing the rugged beauty of Shetland.
