COMPLETE WONDER OF THE SEAS DINING GUIDE

Royal Caribbean’s fifth Oasis Class ship, Wonder of the Seas, is now officially the world’s largest cruise ship. With that title comes plenty of new features including some new dining venues. We are back from a cruise on this ship and have put together this Wonder of the Seas Restaurant Guide. These include the main dining room and the popular Windjammer buffet. With so many great cruise food options, you certainly do not have to pay extra for dining (if you don’t want to). The 3-story main dining room on Wonder of the Seas offers the traditional cruise dining experience. Cruisers can also opt for My Time Dining. Regardless of which you choose, the dinner menus are the same. If you have cruised on Royal Caribbean before, then you are familiar with the Windjammer Marketplace. This buffet is now located aft on deck 15 rather than deck 16. Wonder of the Seas is home to the largest Windjammer in the fleet. This casual, complimentary buffet is open most of the day. Other casual and complimentary dining spots on Wonder of the Seas include Sorrento's Pizza and Café Promenade located on the Royal Promenade. There is also the Boardwalk Dog House located in the Boardwalk neighborhood and Park Café located in the Central Park neighborhood. One of our favorite casual food venues is El Loco Fresh, offering tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos with a custom salsa bar. -----WONDER OF THE SEAS SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS----- Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas also features a number of specialty restaurants. These restaurants do all have up-charges; though, they are certainly worth it. If you plan to dine at a few of these venues, the Unlimited Dining Package is a good value. Izumi is a Royal Caribbean fan favorite offering Asian-inspired teppanyaki, sushi, and other far east flavors. The sports bar on Royal Caribbean ships, Playmakers has found its way onto the Boardwalk of Wonder of the Seas Restaurants. This family-friendly venue serves up a variety of game time food favorites along with a selection of beer. One of our new favorite Royal Caribbean specialty restaurants is Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen. This rustic venue serves up all the Italian classics, like made-to-order pizzas, classic pasta dishes, mouth-watering entrées, and complimentary limoncello. Also located in Central Park on Wonder of the Seas is Chops Grille and 150 Central Park. Chops Grille is the Royal Caribbean signature steakhouse. If you are looking for a perfectly seared cut of beef, then you will want to head to this venue. On Wonder of the Seas, you can also venture down the rabbit hole to an Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant. Wonderland will transport you and your taste buds on a magical journey, serving up some exquisite dishes that are just as entertaining as they are delicious. The Mason Jar is a brand new Wonder of the Seas restaurant, bringing southern cooking to the high seas. This venue serves up homestyle favorites in a farmhouse-style venue alongside live country music. This specialty restaurant is open for brunch and dinner. With menu options like chicken and waffles, gumbo, crab beignets, and cinnamon rolls, how could you not want to try? Finally, there is Hooked.
