When Crystal Cruises collapsed in 2022 the German Hotelier Seaside Collection bought up five of their river cruise ships and set about launching their own cruise line called Riverside Luxury Cruises. The first of their ships to set sail was the 150-passenger Riverside Mozart and I was lucky enough to sail on one of its maiden voyages - a 4-night roundtrip Vienna cruise down the River Danube. This was a real cruise with a difference - an ultra deluxe river cruise on an ultra deluxe ship. Every room on this ship is a suite and every suite comes with a personal butler. This is a tour of my Penthouse Suite #211 on Deck 2. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL with amazing attention paid to detail. It is a stunning cabin - really huge. I look at the bed, the linens, the Espresso machine, the walk-in wardrobe and the marble BATHROOM. In it is a magic, self-opening Japanese-style Toto toilet - it was like nothing I'd ever seen before and opened automatically the moment you walked into the bathroom. It shuts and flushes automatically too! My bathroom also had a fabulous big bath tub. I also look at the lighting, plug sockets, furnishings, walk-in wardrobe and sofa. Most sofas can be made into a bed for a third person. Every suite is given a bottle of champagne and a plate of petits fours daily and the top suites also have French balconies - great for a view over the River Danube. This was a wonderful, luxurious river cruise ship - do look out for a video of my whole cruise experience on this ship. It was the most upmarket cruise I've ever done.
