On this short video, very few clips were recorded during our first sea day. We enjoyed some cocktails, food, sun, took a few trips to the casino, and of course we enjoyed! Prior to sailing I signed us up for the Sushi Making Class, we really enjoyed it. For obvious reasons I couldn't record the whole process as we had to wear gloves to handle the fish and what not. You get to eat what you made and you receive a certificate for assisting the class! I highly recommend if you're into that kind of stuff. Seats sell out quickly, so I would suggest checking out the Royal Caribbean app regularly to sign up. Once you're on board, you're not able to sign up (as far as I know and understand). We also watched the Belly Flop competition where I made the mistake of not wearing sunscreen??? some how I made that rookie?? mistake?? I truly was in so much pain specially because it was just on our fist sea day aka, day 2 of the cruise and we still had Cozumel and Costa Maya to enjoy. But fear not, I bought sunscreen on land! (to this day, I still have the tan lines after 5 months of leaving the cruise). A tip I would like to share is, if you have Facebook, search for your sailing date and ship, you might find a group in there, join if you find it! It can be so fun. We participated on the casino slot pull that was posted on the Facebook group, and we had so much fun. We met new people, and made some money! A lot of people also use the Facebook group to post about their duck scavenger hunt around the ship, excursion experiences prior to sailing, and a lot of people were just hanging out together on the cruise from the group! It's so nice.
