We then visit the Tivoli Castle, mistakenly thinking it was the Ljubljana Castle, but enjoying the lush green surroundings nonetheless. 🌳 Our journey continues as we discover the true Ljubljana Castle, taking a tram up the hill 🚋 and marveling at the panoramic views of the Slovenian Alps 🏔️ and the city below. The castle tour includes a visit to the Museum of Puppetry, providing a fascinating glimpse into local culture. 🎭 Walking through Ljubljana’s historic city center, we find ourselves at Preseren Square, admiring the iconic architecture and vibrant atmosphere. 🏛️ We cross numerous bridges, each offering its own charm, and enjoy the local music playing everywhere. 🎶 We stop for a meal at Restaurant Fresco, where Lanette finally gets her octopus salad 🐙, and Johan enjoys salmon and pasta. The scenic view of the castle and the full moon 🌕 from our hotel window adds a magical touch to our evening. The next day, we explore Tivoli Park 🌼, enjoying the cooler weather and the beautiful garden area.
