Welcome to Disney California Adventure park! We had the best day exploring this park for the first time! There are so many new and different experiences at this park from anything at our home parks at Walt Disney World! Our first stop was to head over to Cars Land for their special Haul-O-Ween overlay! The level of detail and accuracy to the style and design of the Cars movies is unmatched to anything we have experienced in a theme park before! Then when you add the bonus fun of halloween decorations Cars style... WOW what a sight! Even some of the attractions have a special halloween twist: 'Towmater's Graveyard Jambooree' and 'Lugi's Honkin Haul-O-ween'! Radiator Springs Racers does not have a halloween overlay, but this ride is so impressive, that it was fantastic as is! Our breakfast at Flo's V8 Cafe and snacks from the Cozy Cones were delicious! We then hopped over to Pixar Pier which once again knocked our socks off! It is everything you could possibly want out of a fun boardwalk carnival atmosphere! We rode all the attractions in Pixar Pier including 'Incredicoaster', 'Jessie's Critter Carousel', 'Toy Story Midway Mania', 'Pixar Pal Around' (Non-swinging), and 'Emotional Whirlwind'! We had a great time on all the rides but 'Incredicoaster' was by far our favorite ride! We even enjoyed some of the Dia de los Muertos events happening at Plaza de la Familia, such as Miguel serenading us with songs from Coco, and hanging our own personal memories on the Arbol de la Vida! We eventually made our way over the the Grizzly Peak area where we were able to check out its national park theming! After a short break at the hotel, we headed back out for night time fun at DCA! This included a night time ride on 'Incredicoaster' and 'Radiator Springs Racers', as well as the ever so impressive 'World of Color' nighttime light, projections, and water show (it is an absolute must)! We absolutely fell in love with this park and we can't wait to go back over the next few days! We hope you enjoyed coming along with us!
