🎠 Disney's new Tangled ride changed my mind I'll be upfront: Raiponce Tangled Spin at Disney Adventure World is a spinner. Because I love alliteration, I’ve been calling it Tangled Teacups. And spinners are my least favorite type of ride. Mad Tea Party? More like Makes Me Mad Tea Party.I just don’t like getting dizzy. It’s not my thing. During my preview of Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris, I was apprehensive about going on this ride. But I wasn’t going to skip out on one of the new attractions in the park. So I boarded anyway. For science. For research. For Rapunzel. It didn’t surprise me that the ride is gorgeous. The theming, the painted ceiling, the lanterns, the music — all of it lands in a way that feels genuinely special. And at night, this ride is absolutely beautiful. Here's what I did not expect: I actually had fun. Maybe I’ve been wrong about spinners. It helps A LOT to not have anyone turning the wheel in the middle. But the theming is so charming, I was just having a blast. Now, this is a small ride. But I want to give it props when Disney executes a flat ride at this level of craft and detail, it does exactly what a park needs: it rounds out the experience. Not everything has to be an E-Ticket to be worth your time. Rapunzel's Tangled Spin is well worth a spin at Disney Adventure World. You might be surprised too.
