Dog Sledding in Juneau | 7-Night Disney Alaska Wonder Cruise Vlog 6 | 25th Disney Cruise Line 2023

Join us as we visit Juneau during our 7-night cruise aboard the Disney Wonder out of Vancouver, CA to the South Sawyer Glacier, Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, Alaska! It's time for our second and arguably most exciting port city in Alaska: Juneau! It's an early day as we are doing not one, but two port excursions. First up is a bucket list item - dog sledding! We booked this one through a 3rd party vendor (Alaska Shore Excursions) because the price difference was quite big, especially when you consider we had an extra glacier stop on the Herbert Glacier during our tour! For reference, our price was $749 per person while a comparable one through Disney (with no glacier stop) is $829 for the Dog Sledding on the Mendenhall Glacier (JU01) or $899 for Dog Sled Adventure by Helicopter (JU30). After we make it back on board for our second excursion, we take another shuttle over to the famous Gold Creek Salmon Bake (JU16). It's a beautiful little area with great food, beautiful scenery, and even some wildlife if you're lucky! Once we're back on board, it's time for coffee and hot chocolate as we depart Juneau and are seen off by a bunch of bald eagles! Then it's time for the Shimmering Seas Soiree, which comes with free drinks, music, and awesome character meet and greets for the 25th Anniversary. After that, we head over to dinner at Tiana's for the Mardi Gras celebration we've been waiting for ever since Cheyenne missed it on the last cruise!
