In September 2024 we took our second cruise to Canada and New England with Princess Cruises on the Enchanted Princess! This was our first time on the Enchanted Princess and she did NOT disappoint! The Enchanted Princess had her first sailing in 2021, so this was by far the newest ship we have ever cruised on and it totally showed. From the finishes to the color choices this ship was welcoming and elegant. We loved how much thought was put into the overall layout of the ship with plenty of places to relax, indoors and out. We never felt crowded and no matter where we were, we could always fine a nice place to enjoy. We ate almost exclusively at the buffet and can easily say this is the best buffet we've experienced on a cruise ship! They had a huge variety of foods, while maintaining a few standard options, so you always had plenty of choices. Princess took extra care to include a wide variety of gluten free and dairy free options, which we really appreciate for our son! One area where the Enchanted Princess really stood out was with the staff and crew! The crew on the Enchanted Princess were amazing and made the overall experience exceptional. Our room steward took extra time to give us port recommendations, and even showed our son how to make a towel animal! This itinerary we had a front facing obstructed balcony on the Lido deck. We definitely knew this was going to be a risk, but for the cost savings it was a risk we were willing to take. Thankfully this risk paid off BIG TIME! With the layout of the Lido Deck, our room was far enough away from common area's that it was peaceful but close enough to the food that we never had to work too hard for a pastry and cup of coffee ;) Princess Cruises is definitely putting a lot of effort in making their cruises more family friendly, and it shows! Our son enjoyed his time in The Tree House at Camp Discovery, the kids club for 3-7 year old kiddos! The staff were always amazing and he LOVED spending time with them. We definitely rate the Enchanted Princess as the best ship we've sailed on to date, and are already looking at upcoming trips to see if we can sail on her again.
