Exploring Alesund, Norway — The Breathtaking Art Nouveau Town You Must Visit!

http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com The art nouveau town of Alesund is the first major stop on the Midnatsol northbound voyage. There are several different shore excursions but Steve and I decide to do it ourselves. A very easy, two-block walk from where the Midnatsol docked to where Kongensgate, a pedestrian street with art nouveau houses and shops began. From there, across the Brosundel Canal to the Jugendstilsenteret, once an old pharmacy and now the Art Nouveau center of Alesund.
