EXPLORING CASTAWAY CAY! | Plaza de Coco & Moana Show | Disney Cruise Line Treasure Vlog | June 2025

Welcome to a new vlog series and our final port day as we sail onboard the Disney Treasure, exploring Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay! **Enter our giveaway which we’re running for the duration of these vlogs. Subscribe and leave a comment to enter, the more comments, the more entries!** Today is Friday 6th June and it’s our second port day as we sail on Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, The Treasure, for a 7-night Western Caribbean cruise. During this sailing we’ll be travelling to: Cozumel, Mexico George Town, Grand Cayman Falmouth, Jamaica Castaway Cay, Bahamas We have separate plans this morning as Pete heads off the ship early to run the Castaway Cay 5k whilst Oscar and I head to 1923 for breakfast with a beautiful view of the island. As we disembark the ship, we bump into some fun friends dressed in their beautiful new Castaway outfits, what a lovely welcome to Castaway Cay! We take some time to enjoy the stunning view of the ship and the views of the island before heading to the beach. Pete greets me with the cocktail of the day as we meet on the beach for some fun in the sun, sand and sea. Next I take the tram ride to Serenity Bay to have a quick peek at what the adults-only beach is like…all I can say is, WOW! Pete heads to the snorkel lagoon and shows all of the statues that you can see, some of these I’ve never seen before. I think Boo’s door might have been my favourite! Soon it’s lunch time and we head to Cookie’s BBQ, we love the food on the island, always such a good selection with lots to choose from, including those with dietary requirements. Yum! We’ve booked the pedalo boat as a mini excursion / port adventure, we had a great time on this experience and loved being able to get much closer to the ship. We were also surprised by a cast member on his jet ski who took some fab family pics for us. We reboard the ship and head straight for The Aquamouse for a full POV (Oscar’s) of the ride, this was so much fun. I then head to the adult-only area for the infinity pool and another cocktail of the day, which stunning views 😍 As we head back to the room, I talk you through the process for luggage tags, luggage collection and gratuities onboard a Disney Cruise before we head for dinner at Plaza de Coco. This was our favourite restaurant and I’m so happy that this was our final night dinner, we had the most amazing meal and dinner show with some of our favourite songs from Coco. Our best experience on the Disney Treasure! Then it’s time for the show we’ve most been looking forward to, Tales of Moana! This show did not disappoint, it was incredible from start to finish and we loved it. We catch the Aladdin experience with the chandelier as we wait for the Treasure Found Goodnight show.
